"The Project was the construction of the new DCWW Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoir Centre and alongside BECT, RMG undertook the associated ground works and foundations to the new centre. It was an ecologically sensitive site with a complex surface water management/drainage system consisting of large filter beds, attenuation systems and hydro brakes . The filtered and cleaned surface water on leaving the system entered the Nant Fawr, all works achieving the aim of Welsh Governments Sustainable Drainage requirements.
The work was well executed and the finished product is excellent, a very satisfying job bringing a lovely, new, very environmentally friendly DCWW facility to Cardiff."
